Chase Sapphire Preferred No Longer Offering Authorized User Bonus
Unfortunately Chase has recently removed the option to earn an additional 5,000 bonus Chase Ultimate Rewards® points when adding an authorized user to the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card.
New card members will still earn a fantastic 50,000 bonus points spending $4,000 on purchases in the first three months. That’s worth $625 in travel!
Even with the removal of this perk, I still believe that Chase Ultimate Rewards® points are the most valuable transferable points out there. And the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card is still my #1 new card recommendation for beginners.

Other Chase cards like Chase Freedom® and Chase Freedom Unlimited® have also dropped the authorized user bonus.
